We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are doing everything we can to be consistent with the CDC and public health recommendations and provide you with the highest quality service you have come to expect from us.
Due to the dynamic situation of continued efforts to limit exposure to individuals with COVID 19, the state and federal government have begun to impose additional limitations to institutions including Ambulatory Surgery Centers such as Performance Health. These changes are being made in an effort to limit potential COVID-19 exposure for our staff, patients and visitors and to conserve resources for those in need. Our primary concern is protecting the health and well-being of our employees, our patients and the community we serve.
For the foreseeable future, the Performance Health Surgery Center will only perform surgery that is deemed urgent and that delay of such procedure would cause harm to the patient. This is in conformance with the expectations established by CMS and the federal government.
During this period of time, if your surgeon deems your surgery urgent, we will contact you the day prior to surgery and ask critical screening questions of you and the person designated as your driver. If you answer yes to any of the screening questions, we will reschedule your procedure.
